My winning entry in the New Yorker/Blown Cover Contest. The theme is Halloween. The concept was how Mayor Bloomberg's Health Initiative effects Halloween.

Mitt and Paul getting into costume.

While working on Halloween sketches I got to thinking about masks and costumes and...well one thing lead to another and I took a little break to do this sketch for fun.

Paul Ryan, Mitt Romney.

Key Note Speaker

Chris Christie, Key Note Speaker and winner of the Hot Dog eating contest at the Republican Convention.

This is my first sketch, the one I submitted.
This is an alternative version, unfortunately I didn't have time to submit it.
This is a final sketch that I wasn't able to submit but like best.

I had a little extra time on this theme and couldn't stop sketching out ideas. Here are five I'm willing to show!

My sketch for the "Food" theme. I decided to make Salt and Pepper the stars of the red table cloth. The other two sketches are rejects that I didn't submit. I had a little fun combining the theme and all of the "summer of the zombies" stuff in the news the last few weeks.

The theme was "Beach". I explored several ideas, here are four that I am pleased with.
